Frequently Asked Questions

I live in LaGrange, GA, or Chambers County, AL. Can I still come to your Roanoke office?

Yes. We’re located right off US-431, an easy drive for patients across the Georgia-Alabama border, and we’re happy to check your out-of-state or out-of-county insurance benefits before your visit.

Your office is closed on Mondays and closes early on Fridays. What if I have a toothache outside those hours?

Give us a call and leave a message with the best number to reach you. Dr. Towers and our team check for urgent messages and will work to get you scheduled as soon as we reopen. For severe pain, swelling, or trauma, please seek emergency medical care right away.

How far in advance do I need to book, and how soon can I be seen for a toothache?

We know tooth pain doesn’t wait for a convenient time. We hold room in our schedule for urgent cases, so call us first thing when a problem starts. Most patients are seen much faster than they expect for pain-related visits.

Is sedation dentistry only for major procedures, or can I request it for routine cleanings?

Sedation isn’t just for surgery. If dental anxiety keeps you from getting routine cleanings or checkups, let us know ahead of time. We can talk through whether nitrous oxide or oral sedation is a good fit for a simple visit, not just a complex one.

Do you place dental implants in-house, or will I be referred out?

Reconstructive care, including dental implants, is handled right here in our Roanoke office. That means fewer referrals, fewer new offices to get used to, and a treatment plan Dr. Towers oversees from start to finish.

Do you see young children, or mainly teens and adults?

Our practice welcomes patients across a wide age range, from young kids getting their first checkups to adults and seniors. We build care around each patient’s stage of life, so the whole family can be seen under one roof.
